Mixed teams front up on Rangituhi

Mixed teams dominated the 90-minute rogaine on Rangituhi last Wednesday, filling the top 14 placings. And mixed also took the top three placings in the 3-hour category, with only 10 points separating them.

Good Count in Final Score

107 orienteers at today's final of the score series in Belmont Regional Park. Following the CSW awards, Ryan Gordon from Onslow posted the top student score, and was third overall.

Respite from Rain

After a rough week of rain, we enjoyed better conditions for today's score event, covering bush tracks around the Riser and Haywards Reserve,

And Rogainers Escape the Worst

Light showers and 5 degrees for Wednesday's afterwork rogaine, but even on top of Makara Peak it wasn't too bad. Certainly better than the days on either side!

Great Start to Secondary School Champs - Updates

Jake McLellan won the Intermediate Boys Sprint at the NZ Secondary School Champs in Auckland today Thursday. And Nicholas Green was 2nd in Senior Boys. Update Friday: All OHV members were in the top 10 in the Long today. Update Sat: Jake fastest individual time in IB Relay.

Tim Robertson has won the sprint in the 2022 World Games orienteering, with a margin of 9 seconds.

Tough Day at the Oyffice

The newly available area immediately north of the Waitarere village has some of the most complex sand dunes in the forest, coupled with low visibility. Karl Dravitzki from Taranaki won Red 1 in today's OY.

Eight out of Ten Aint Bad

Tim and Laura Top Kiwis in Final

OHV's Tim and Laura Robertson were the top kiwis in the final event of the Sprint World Champs in Denmark, but the gold medal is still elusive.

18 Titles at Pokapu

OHV members lifted 18 titles at the Pokapu Champs over the weekend. There were sprint, long and middle distance races in the Hawkes Bay.

Four Juniors in NZ Team

Four OHV members have been selected in the NZ Secondary School teams to contest the Australian School Chanps in September.

Sheltered at Catchpool

The Catchpool valley sheltered 70 orienteers from the wind today, but periodic showers made conditions wet for CSW event #3.
