OHV's Tim Robertson has been in Italy, where the last round of the Orienteeering World Cup finished yesterday. He and Toby Scott ran unofficially in the Sprint Relay in the mountain village of Cortina d'Ampezzo (1956 Winter Olympics). Going out on leg 2 in 10th place, the Valley Flyer passed 7 runners and got within 9sec of the lead! He also posted a 43rd in the 19km long distance. With more runners allowed than a World Champs that's pretty good. Results, maps, GPS tracks at orienteering.sport/worldcup/2021round3/ and choose "Live".
