OHV ran two events in two days this week, with over 400 participants. On a beautiful Wednesday evening, Cameron Johns set out the first two courses he has planned, at Days Bay. The software (Condes) was easy, the Year 10 student said, if I thought you should be able to do something I just hunted around and found it. And a 4-woman rogaine team planned Thursday's 3hr rogaine based at Southgate. Although moist, the temperaure was about 17 degrees throughout. Rogaine planners have been using Condes for 5 years now, saving physical visits to the mapping officer. Files can simply flit to and fro. Results from the orienteering are at www.ohv.org.nz/results/, and provisionals for the rogaine are on the Facebook group www.facebook.com/groups/472899162904941
