The evergreen Bill Edwards was fastest on the long course at tonights sprint, but HVHS student Jonathan Green was only 4 seconds behind, after leading for much of the way. Ruby Cross (also HVHS) was the top woman on the course through Lower Hutt's civic centre, St Peter and Pauls primary school, and Sacred Heart College. Lily Trompetter won the short course, with Ashleigh Manks (Sacred Heart) second.
