Following excellent performances at Kings Birthday, two of the club's top juniors have been named in New Zealand teams to compete in the Australian Schools Championships. Jake McLellan and Nicholas Green will be in Team Karahiwi, one of two equal teams to compete against Australian state teams. The events are in Western Australia in September. And five members have been named in a NZ team to contest a NZ-Aust MTBO Challenge, earlier in Sepember but in Queensland. They are: Rachel Drew, Nicola Mitchell, Liam Drew, Glen Warner and Michael Wood. The team announcement is at 2023 NZ MTBO Team named for ANZ Challenge | Orienteering New Zealand
