No surprise that Jake McLellan (OHV and Onslow) was at the top of Senior Boys in the individual events of the NZ Secondary School Champs this weekend; with Morag and Emma Wills (Karori Normal) also on the podium. But in terms of good solid teamwork, the HVHS boys capped off a successful season with their placings in the relay today. The Junior Boys team of Nicholas McKenzie, Ethan Gould and Ferghus Smith placed third. And the Intermediate Boys Cameron Johns, Callum Cross and Evan Wells came sixth in a much larger field dominated by the sheer numbers of Auckland schools.  There's a Hutt Valley summary here, and full results when completed on https://www.oevents.nz/nzss2024/results/
