OHV juniors got off to a flying start in the Tuaraki Sprint Championship on the Waikato Uni campus today. Jake McLellan won Senior Boys, Nicholas Green was 3rd and Jonathan Green 4th. Fields are large because NZ teams for the Australian School Champs will be chosen after the weekend. Morag McLellan was 9th in an even larger Senior Girls field. UPDATE SUNDAY - Jake had another win in often low-visibility forest, Nicholas was 5th, Jonathan and Morag not so good. UPDATE MONDAY - more low-vis forest, Jake 2nd, Nicholas 4th, J and M not so good.
