Running in hot humid conditions in Alabama, Tim Robertson has won the sprint in the 2022 World Games orienteering, with a margin of 9 seconds. The WG is a pseudo-olympic festival for non-olympic sports. The sprint was run on a leafy university campus, with plenty of route choice without the trendy use of artificial barriers. He was also 14th in the middle distance race, but NZ doesnt have a relay team. Tim will now spend a few weeks in New Zealand before returning to Sweden.
