1, 2 for OHV members in the Australian Middle Distance Champs near Armidale today. Ted van Geldermalsen won M75 while Jake McLellan was 2nd in M20E. There were other kiwi wins too with Felix Hunt topping M21E. Tomorrow there are inter-state relays, other champs next weekend, and the schools champs in between. And the performances were reversed in the relay Sunday. Ted led off for the Vic M65 team and handed over in second, 1min down on a younger ACT runner. However his team-mates did the business and brought them into first. Meanwhile Jake was second runner in M20, making up a 2min/6th place deficit to hand over 1min ahead of NSW. NZ's 3rd runner extended that a tad for the win. We breed them well in OHV!
