The cancelled CollegeSport sprint series affected numbers but there was a healthy turnout at Petone Rec tonight for Anna Parsons' two courses. Both started simply and ended in the maze round the library, community house, school and polytech. Battle lines between old and young have been drawn again with old (Bill Edwards) just beating young (Jake McLellan) on the long. Sophie Waters was the fastest woman. HVHS Y9 Callum Cross was top of the short, with Sacred Heart's Ashleigh Manks just behind.
