Beautiful day at Avalon Park for the CSW "Have A Go" event designed by Nicole Maddigan to familiarise students for the Sunday series of classic orienteering. Though not scoring points today, Kyra Saywell from Raroa Intermediate whipped around the white course in 10:19, Jonno Westrupp was the quickest boy on 11:03. Cameron Johns (HVHS) won the yellow with Ellie Iwata from St Marys the fastest girl. And Jake and Morag McLellan (Onslow) were quickest on the orange. Quite a few oldies did the yellow and orange too, which went over the bridge to Belmont Domain and the artificial wetland.
