Rachel Drew has made the podium in the opening event of the World Masters MTBO Champs in Denmark. Today she placed 6th W45 in the Mass Start event, in which loops of the course are ridden in different orders to split the field up. Liam Drew was 15th in M50, John Robertson 33rd in M55. Auckland's Rob Garden won M75 and Marquita Gelderman was 2nd in W55.

And she went one better on Saturday in her forte the Long distance. Liam also improved his ranking with places of 13, 11 and 9, while John got up to 25th. Meanwhile Rob Garden all but cleaned up M75 over the four events (just one 2nd) and Marquita was consistently 2nd, coming as close as 8sec. Marquita started her orienteering in OHV.
