A southerly change didn't deter multi-skilled orienteers from today's Sprint Adventure Race, on yet another stretch of the Hutt River.  And there was next to no rain at Upper Hutt!

The 5th in the series ran between the Totara Park and Birchville bridges, and included new mapping at the Maoribank river bend and Birchville School. The MTB-orienteering was 10km, with four 1km foot stages. 

Nicholas Green and AJ Prichard won but they didn't have things all their own way, with Jonathan Green (2nd overall) taking the Birchville stage. The top 5 places were taken by junior orienteers.
