72 teams that took the start in the Big Trig at Whareroa Farm yesterday finished by lazing on the grass in warm sunshine. Top of the 6hr category which reached into the Akatarawa bush was Worms Adrift, while Chilli con Carnage won the 3hr.

100 orienteers kicked off the 2023 OY season at Catchpool Stream today. Scores will be based on a sprint-length Prolog followed by a Middle distance. Nick Smith and Yvette Baker won the Red Long categories.

An Onslow College team beat all comers in last week's rogaine. "Onslow Hillarities Kaka" scored 900 on the steep East Harbour course, beating the higher-scoring "Worms Adrift" who were 9 minutes late.
