Jake McLellan and Nicholas Green have flown back home after an impressive campaign in Australia. Their team "Karahiwi" won the Australian Secondary School Champs overall.

MTBOers Win in Australia

OHV members contributed to a kiwi win over Australia in MTB-Orienteering around Brisbane at the weekend. While neck and neck at the halfway point, an emphatic 7-1 victory in the Middle Distance sealed the result.

Young and Old Score at Wainui

Older and younger competitors achieved well at Sunday's Score event in the Wainui Trail Park. Al Cross was second overall while Morag McLellan and Pippin Ford were the top two juniors.

2023 OY Series Opener at Catchpool - Points Added

100 orienteers kicked off the 2023 OY season at Catchpool Stream today. Scores will be based on a sprint-length Prolog followed by a Middle distance. Nick Smith and Yvette Baker won the Red Long categories.

Impressive Hutt Results in School Series

Sunday's event at Karori completed the 2023 CSW Classic series, with impressive results for OHV and Hutt Valley schools. There were 5 wins and 10 further top 3 placings.

School Team Wins Rogaine

An Onslow College team beat all comers in last week's rogaine. "Onslow Hillarities Kaka" scored 900 on the steep East Harbour course, beating the higher-scoring "Worms Adrift"  who were 9 minutes late.

Laing Makes Three from Three

Hamish Laing won the Brooklyn afterwork rogaine on Thursday, making three from three. His partner was Sam Robson.

Tim and Laura in Massive Relay

OHV members Tim and Laura Robertson at at the huge Jukola Relay in Finland this weekend, and Tim' s team is lying in 4th place.

Seven to Represent New Zealand

Two OHV juniors have been named to represent NZ in WA, while five seniors will ride in a challenge in Queensland.
